• Organization: Staff Selection Commission (SSC)
• Posts Available: Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police (Male and Female) and Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs
• Pay Scale: Level-6 (₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400) plus allowances as per government rules
• Mode of Application: Candidates must submit their applications online exclusively through the official SSC website ssc.gov.in
• Application Dates: The online registration window is open from 26 September 2025 to 16 October 2025 (11:00 PM)
• Last Date for Fee Payment: 17 October 2025 (11:00 PM)
• Application Correction Window: Candidates can edit their application between 24 October 2025 and 26 October 2025
• Exam Date: The Computer-Based Examination (CBT) will be held in November–December 2025

Sub-Inspector (Executive) – Delhi Police

• Male: 142 vacancies (UR-63, OBC-35, SC-19, ST-10, EWS-15)

• Female: 70 vacancies (UR-32, OBC-17, SC-9, ST-5, EWS-7)

Sub-Inspector (GD) – CAPFs

• CRPF: 1,029 (Male & Female combined)

• BSF: 223 (Male & Female combined)

• ITBP: 233 (Male & Female combined)

• CISF: 1,294 (Male & Female combined)

• SSB: 82 (Male & Female combined)

Note: Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

• Must be a citizen of India, or

• A subject of Nepal/Bhutan with a valid eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

• 20 to 25 years (Born between 02.08.2000 and 01.08.2005).

• Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC – 3 years; Ex-Servicemen – 3 years after military service deduction.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

• Male candidates applying for Delhi Police SI must have a valid LMV Driving License (Motorcycle & Car) on the date of the Physical Test.

⚡ Selection Process

The recruitment will be based on:

1. Paper-I (Computer-Based Examination)

2. Physical Standards & Endurance Tests (PST & PET)

3. Paper-II (English Language & Comprehension)

4. Medical Examination (DME/RME)

5. Document Verification

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/EWS, and 20% for all other categories.
