Roles & Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Management

  • Supervise ongoing construction activities as per approved drawings and specifications.

  • Coordinate with contractors, laborers, and workers to ensure smooth execution of tasks.

  • Monitor quality control as per CPWD standards.

  • Maintain daily site reports regarding work progress and workforce details.

2. Estimation & Costing

  • Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates for projects.

  • Conduct rate analysis based on CPWD Schedule of Rates (SOR) or market rates.

  • Verify and certify contractor bills for payment.

3. Design & Drafting

  • Help in  preparing or reviewing design drawings for construction Projects

  • Work with AutoCAD to create or modify layouts.

  • Ensure timely updates of design drawings to reflect project changes.

4. Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Assist in work scheduling and ensure project deadlines are met.

  • Coordinate material procurement to prevent delays.

  • Manage labor and machinery resources as per the project plan.

5. Site Inspection & Testing

  • Conduct regular site inspections for quality assurance.

  • Oversee material testing (concrete, soil, steel) for compliance.

  • Inspect structural integrity of completed works.

6. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records of construction activities, material usage, and test results.

  • Prepare periodic reports for senior engineers and project managers.

  • Issue and receive work orders and ensure compliance.

7. Safety & Environmental Compliance

  • Enforce safety measures like PPE, signage, and protocols.
