10th & 12th pass + 2/3 year Diploma in the above disciplines  

📅 Age Criteria (as on date of joining)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

  • Maximum Age: 22 years

  • Date of Birth Range:

    • For Navik (GD/DB): Candidates must be born between 01 August 2004 and 01 August 2008 (both dates inclusive).

    • Yantrik: 01 Mar 2004 to 01 Mar 2008

  • Age Relaxation: 5 years(SC/ST). 3 years OBC (Non-Creamy Layer),

🔍 Selection Process: 4 Stages

  1. Stage I: Computer-Based Exam (subject-specific sections)

  2. Stage II: PFT, Document Verification, Medical Exam

  3. Stage III: Final Medical & Document Verification at INS Chilka

  4. Stage IV: Final Validation of Original Certificates

💡 No negative marking. Stage I marks are normalized. Multiple stages of biometric and identity verification involved.


🏃‍♂️ Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

  • 1.6 km run in 7 minutes

  • 20 squats (Uthak Baithak)

  • 10 push-ups
    Note: All to be performed in succession without break


🧾 Required Documents

At various stages, candidates must produce:

  • Identity proof (Aadhaar preferred)

  • Class 10/12/Diploma certificates and marksheets

  • Domicile certificate (for zone allocation and relaxation)

  • Passport-size photos (up to 30 in Stage III)

📌 Important Guidelines

  • Candidates from open schools not recognized by COBSE/AICTE are not eligible.

  • Tattoos not allowed except inner forearm or back of hand for tribal candidates.

  • Any mismatch in documents will lead to cancellation of candidature.

  • Aadhaar card is mandatory for registration and further processes.
