Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • HC (Radio Operator):

    • 12th pass with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and at least 60% aggregate, OR

    • Matriculation + 2 years ITI in Electronics, Radio & TV, Computer Operator, Data Entry, or related trades.

  • HC (Radio Mechanic):

    • 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks, OR”

    • Matriculation + 2 years ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Fitter, IT Hardware, Mechatronics, Data Entry, or related trades.

Selection Process

The BSF Head Constable selection will be conducted in three phases:

  1. Phase 1: PST & PET (Physical Standards & Physical Efficiency Test)

  2. Phase 2: Computer Based Test (CBT)

    • HC (RO): CBT (200 marks) + Dictation Test (50 marks) + Paragraph Reading (Qualifying)

    • HC (RM): CBT (200 marks) only

  3. Phase 3: Document Verification & Medical Exam
